The UAF Tanana Valley Campus offers both an A.A.S degree and Certificate option in Information Technology Specialist (ITS). There are many job opportunities in computer support, most of which require education, experience, and industry certification. The ITS Program will prepare you in all these areas. The ITS Program is designed to meet the needs of the following students:

1. Students who want to have a computer support career and who have no prior experience.
2. Students who are changing careers to a computer support area.
3. Students who are active computer users and want to broaden and deepen their skills so that they can be employed in the computer support field.
4. Current computer support professionals who want to get a college degree to supplement their other certification.
5. Current computer support professionals who want to upgrade their technical skills or who want to prepare for industry certification.
